Big Ben was amazing! For some reason though fans had found out our itinerary for the day. We'd only been at Big Ben for maybe fifteen minutes before we got ambushed by fans. Of course, Paul got us out safely. This was all very confusing and it was beginning to get annoying. I'd only had to deal with it for a day. I could only imagine what is was like for the boys 24/7. "How do you guys deal with this? It's absolutely nuts. We can't enjoy where we're at because people swarm us," I said.
Niall chuckled, "They're our fans. Without them we wouldn't be where we are right now. It does get bothersome but we love them. We understand how much it means to them to meet us and have the chance to tell us how much they love or enjoy our music. So we give everything we can, but today we can't stop."
"Couldn't have said it any better myself," Liam added.
I nodded, "I guess, I understand. I used to be one of those fans who would've given anything to meet you guys. Now I have... I'm just not used to it. I'm used to being ignored and enjoying my space. It's a lot to take in, in such a short amount of time."
Danielle patted my leg. "It gets easier, love. You're new news. It takes time for things to calm down and after the interview all their questions will finally be answered."
I smiled at her. I could see why Liam and Louis were head-over-heels for these girls. They were amazing people! Super sweet and very accepting and loving of others. It was so sad how they have received so much hate from people who called themselves fans of the boys. I honestly thought that if you were a true fan of the boys than you would respect their girlfriends because they are just as much a part of their lives as their families. I was braced for the hate I would get on my twitter account after this, that's why I hadn't gotten on yet. I didn't want to be devastated and hurt by things people said about me. That don't know me, so they can't judge me or say I am one way without actually knowing me because... Well, because they don't know me! Paul turned around in the front seat. "I forgot to tell you boys you actually have an interview today. It was scheduled before our guests were to come but they postponed it to today at three. So we're going there next and then we will go to London Eye."
The boys nodded. They didn't seem too concerned or surprised by this news. I wondered if it happened often when all of a sudden some interview would come up. I guess we girls get to watch from the sidelines. This would be interesting, I just knew it. I mean, everything with the boys is interesting right?! Never a dull moment with One Direction, that's for sure!
A few minutes passed and then we were being led into a news building through the back entrance. You could hear fans screaming their lungs out in the front of the building. We entered and immediately the guys were whisked off to makeup. Us girls were then left to just chill in the lounge. One by one the boys wandered back to us. Now their faces were covered in makeup and their hair was sprayed in place. It was a new experience. Harry's complexion wasn't picture perfect but he was a guy and bad makeup makes people break out. It was just a known fact. I wanted to take it all off of him! It wasn't my Harry. Wow! Did I just think that?! ...Well I guess he kind of was, I think. He kissed me on my cheek and I lost my train of thought. The director of the show came out and introduced herself. Then she asked, "I've never seen you three girls before this week. The tabloids are going crazy with rumors. Do you think sometime during the interview you girls could come on and clear things up with the boys?"
I didn't know why but for some reason we all looked over at Paul for his approval. He nodded and then it was our turn to be whisked off to hair and makeup. They didn't do anything to our hair but make sure it was still holding curl. They touched up our makeup and added more eye makeup and besides that they didn't do much else. Many of the wardrobe people complimented us on our outfits. It just came to show how well we did in the fashion part of the world.
We joined the boys in the lounge for a moment before they were told they were on in one minute. Liam and Louis kissed their girls, Harry kissed me, Niall gave Anne a long hug, and Zayn kissed Becca on the cheek. I thought it was cute to see the progress of certain relationships. I couldn't help but think, What if we ended being the three best friends who gave the other boys in the group girlfriends. Then they would all be taken. Ohh... What a scandal! ;) There was a tv screen in the lounge so we could watch the boys' interview while it was happening. They were asked the typical questions about their new album and their upcoming tour. It was fascinating to know they were right on the other side of the studio and I wouldn't have to wait weeks before actually getting to see it. The problems of being a hardcore directioner and living on the west coast of the United States. As time passed, I started to become anxious. We were going on an interview with the boys. This only happened in my dreams. I couldn't believe we were actually going to be on with One Direction and as their rumored girlfriends. Of course we were going to be clearing up rumors by almost confirming them... Boy I wondered what my twitter looked like right now... It was probably crazy with how many mentions I was getting or something. Who knew! I was afraid to just peek at it on my phone.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when the interviewer said, "As you boys know, there are all these rumors going around about you guys have guests for the summer. What is this all about?"
"Well, my aunt is friends with one of the girls aunt's. They're mothers knew how big of fans they are of One Direction, so they called in a favor. We were more than happy to bring them on," Zayn explained.
Liam smiled, "Yeah! We've all become fast friends. It feels like we've known each other for forever. We just clicked. The girls get along really well with mine and Louis' girlfriends. They're super sweet and funny."
The interviewer smiled and nodded, "It seems like their great gals! Well, you may not know but it seems like Harry, Niall, and Zayn have all been paired up with one of the girls. Instead of just talking to you guys about it, we're going to bring those girls out themselves." All of us girls stood up, our stomachs flipping with nerves. We grabbed hands and started to walk out. The interviewer continued, "So, here they are: there's Ella Darey, Anne Beckett, and Becca Pedra." We walked out to clapping and gasps at our appearances. I don't know if I was to take that as a good thing or a bad thing. It was the weirdest feeling walking out there and I sitting in between Louis and Harry, who immediately put his arm behind my back and pulled me close. In a way he was silently voicing his feeling about me and it made me happy. Anne was sitting next to Niall and Becca was next to Zayn. The interviewer was still smiling waiting for the clapping to die down before she continued, "Well, hi girls."
"Hi," we all said at the same time and we kind of laughed a bit at that.
"So, you've been sitting in the back listening to everything thus far. Do you have anything to add?"
I sat up a bit, "I don't know if there is much else to add. Besides the fact we had no idea when we got here how we would be spending our summer. It came as quite a shock. It's actually a funny story how we found out."
"Really? Why don't you tell us?" the interviewer asked.
"Yeah," Harry said. "We haven't even heard the story ourselves."
I chuckled a bit, before I continued. "Well, our driver or chauffeur asked us if we wanted to stop somewhere to eat which we did. Plane food for almost 18 hours is not very appetizing."-everyone laughed at that-"Obviously, we knew exactly where we wanted to go. So, we went to Nandos. When we got out of the car, people just stopped and stared like they knew us. We thought that was strange especially when people began to take our pictures. So we ordered and we're sitting there waiting for our food and everyone is still staring. By that time we were feeling quite awkward. I went to get our food and the server told us that we looked like the girls in this magazine she had. She graciously gave us the magazine and we grabbed our food and went back to the car. It was crazy out there. So many people snapping photos and everything. We got back in the car and read the article. You might find our reactions were quite comical. Talk about a complete fangirl moment."
The interviewer chuckled. "So, I have a question for you Ella and Harry... What's going on between the two of you?"
Harry and I looked at each other and he smiled. I blushed at the love I saw in his eyes which took me off guard. We looked back at her and Harry said, "Well, we're trying to figure that out ourselves. I only met this girl a couple days ago. Although I will admit, I immediately was attracted to her. Who wouldn't be, she's gorgeous!"
I blushed hardcore at that and said, "This is the first time I am hearing any of this..." Everyone laughed and I saw the camera zoom in on my face.
Harry laughed and put his arm around my shoulders and gave me a slight hug. My hand went to his abs to keep myself from falling a bit and I laughed and smiled down towards the floor. Harry continued as I looked up again, "We didn't hit it right off. I will admit I was forward in my advances and she just seemed confused. It was funny and cute. It just made me like her all the more. Anyways, we get on really well. She's amazing."
"And I'm sitting right here," I laughed. "Well, I will admit I fought off his advances because well... I am a huge fan and like most fans, I fangirled over Harry the most. I'm basically living every fan's dream as our my friends. I sometimes still have to pinch myself to remind me that I'm not dreaming."
Harry laughed and whispered in my ear, "And that's why I'm falling hard for you." Then he kissed the side of my head as the audience awed. I blushed bright red and was glad that the interviewer moved on to Zayn and Becca, then Niall and Anne.
She then asked, "So, after all is said and done. What are you guys planning for these girls while they're here?"
"Aw, that's a surprise. They don't even know what we have planned," Niall commented.
"Well, it was great having you guys on the show and you girls are absolutely wonderful. You're all gorgeous! It's easy to see why these boys are falling for you." She then turned to the camera, "Well you heard it here first Directioners. Looks like things are heating up in the romance world of One Direction and don't they look happy? We wish all the best to One Direction and their guests, Ella, Anne and Becca. The best of luck to you guys!"
"Thanks!" We all said at the same time and looked at each other as we laughed. "Bye everyone!" Then we waved at the camera. It turned off and the interviewer told us we were off air. Harry then put his hand on the side of my face and turned it towards him. He gently placed his lips on mine and the people in the audience wolf-whistled. We pulled apart and he said, "I wanted to do that during the interview but I thought better of it."
We leaned our foreheads against each other and I smiled up at him. I could very much say that in that moment I was head over heels for Harry Styles. He was everything I imagined he would be. :) It looked like we actually did confirm some of the rumors floating around and now they'd become solid facts.
